Our Mission
Four generations of the Tantillo family have been
growing and selling the best fresh fruits and vegetables on their farm in the
scenic Town of Gardiner located in the heart of Ulster County. Frank Tantillo transformed this Gardiner dairy farm to fruit and vegetables in
1932. For over 77 years the family (now including great-grandchildren) have owned and operated this grassroots business providing wholesome, homegrown
quality. June through October the farm is bustling with "pick your own" cherries, tomatoes, pears, apples, and
pumpkins. The roadside market has a complete selection of farm fresh and
local produce including all the homemade "extras". The finest farm-fresh ingredients go into the pies, cakes, jams, jellies, doughnuts, muffins, breads, and ice cream cakes made daily on the premises.
Seasonal homemade fruit toppings add a special touch to the culinary masterpieces created at the ice cream bar.
